LTC Dennis Brozek

LTC Brozek is a native of Atlanta, GA. He attended North Georgia College and received his commission as an aviation offi cer through Reserve Officers Training Corps. He attended the Aviation Offi ce Basic Course and IERW and was assigned to 5-501st Aviation, Camp Eagle, Korea. After completing the Aviation Officer Advance Course, he was assigned to Ft Ord, CA, where his assignments included: attack helicopter platoon leader, Asst Brigade (Bde) S1, and Brigade III/V Platoon Leader. LTC Brozek arrived at Ft Carson, CO, in August 1993, after completing the Combined Arms Staff Service School. He served as the 1-10 Cavalry Squadron Asst Operation Officer and then took command of an AH-1(Cobra) Air Troop. After deactivation of 1-10 Cav, LTC Brozek was assigned to V Corps as the Chief of Executive Services and G3 Aviation Officer. After two rotations through Hungary (Operation Joint Endeavor and Operation Joint Guard), LTC Brozek took a consecutive overseas tour (COT) to Illesheim, GE, where he served as the Asst Bde S3, and the Operations Officer and the Executive Officer for 6-6 Cav. After completing Command & General Staff College at Ft Leavenworth, LTC Brozek was assigned to the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) in Arlington, VA, where he served as the Deputy and the Chief of the Space Branch on the G3 staff . Following the tour in the Washington, DC, area, LTC Brozek was assigned to the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) as the Chief of the Space Support Element. Following a tour in Operation Enduring Freedom, he was assigned to the SMDC Battle Lab as the Chief of the Experiments Division. LTC Brozek has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Touro University of New York. His awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Commendation Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, the Nation Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, NATO Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon (Numeral 4), Army Reserve Overseas Service Ribbon. He has also been awarded the Senior Aviator Badge, Parachutist Badge and Air Assault Badge and the Air Force Master Space Badge.
